The National Retail Federation announced the release of Version 2.0 of its Mobile Blueprint, which provides significant updates to the original document published in July by the Mobile Retail Initiative (MRI).

Mobile adoption in retail is moving rapidly, ABI Research reports that through December 2010 mobile commerce excluding travel will have grown 143 percent from $1.4 billion in 2009 to $3.4 billion in 2010, requiring a major update to the Blueprint.

Marg enters fabrication of railway wagons
|

Marg Ltd, the Chennai-based infrastructure development company, is foraying into the fabrication of railway wagon by winning an Rs 38 crore order from Braithwaite & Co. Ltd, one of the largest wagon manufacturers in India.
MARG EPC’s industrial project division has bagged the order that includes fabrication and assembly of 247 of BTFLN wagon (frameless Bogie Tanker Wagon used primarily for liquid petroleum products) in BCL workshop. This includes supply of components and consumables except raw steel.
The timeframe to complete the project will be seven months (40 wagons per month as specified by BCL). This is, however, subject to timely availability of the raw steel, wheel set and dished ends, which are to be provided by Braithwaite, according to a Marg press release.
